Bulletproof set of wheels from the early nineties.

8-speed Shimano cassette, 32 radially laced DT bladed spokes up front. 32 round straight guaged DT spokes at the back, triple crossed for strength. Aero DT rims. What's not to like?

Unlike those flimsy modern carbon wheels, these brutes won't crumble in potholes. Nor will they warp, even if you drop them. Still oh so shiny too. Shimano freehub body is also compatible with any number of alternative speed cassettes if you want to run say, 9-speed instead.
